Register /backend as an npm workspace and install Apollo Server 5 with graphql 16. Add TS, tsx and Node types as dev deps for building and running the server in development. Refs #29
Compile src/ to dist/ for Node 20+ with ES modules and strict checking. Refs #29
Start an Apollo Server on chosen port (3001 default) using a placeholder schema with a single health query. The real schema will be added in a different issue Refs #29
Use the same ESLint setup as the frontend without the React plugins. Refs #29
Add a dev:backend root script and make the root script build every workspace. How to start, build and run the backend is added. Refs #29
